How to Make Onion Pickle
Ingredients
- 200 g sliced Onions
- 2 Teaspoon (Tsp) salt
- Zest and juice of a Lemon
- 1.5 Tsp Sugar
- ½ Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 Chopped Chilli (Deseeded)
- 1 Tablespoon (Tbsp) Chopped COriander
Procedure
- Mix the onions and salt, keep aside for 10 mins
- Zest the lemon and mix the juice, sugar,chillies (powder and fresh), coriander to make the pickling liquid
- Squeeze the Onions (Discard the water) and put them into the pickling liquid
- Mix well
- Best served with BBQ or Tandoori Food or Fried Meat Dishes
- 5-6 Serves (as a side)
